In 2019, we developed a proposal for the Expo 2023 Buenos Aires international brand identity competition. The event was conceived around science, innovation, art, and creativity as tools for human development and social progress.

Our concept explored the relationship between art, design, science, and technology through a visual language rooted in Argentine and international modernist traditions. We researched the work of Anni Albers, Tomás Maldonado, and Lidy Prati, whose practices connected art, design, perception, materials, and new forms of visual thinking.

Their work became a starting point for developing the visual system, combining geometric forms, textiles, printmaking, and experimental structures to express the idea of creativity as a universal human capacity. We also drew from the work of Wim Crouwel and the experimental graphic design of the Instituto Di Tella to develop the graphic identity and typographic system.

Although our proposal was not selected as the winning entry, it was distinguished by the jury as part of the competition.
